Merredin IGA
Our Story
Merredin is a central wheatbelt town in Western Australia, located roughly midway between Perth and Kalgoorlie, on Route 94, Great Eastern Highway. It is located on the route of the Goldfields Water Supply Scheme, and as a result is also on the Golden Pipeline Heritage Trail.
The supermarket is the largest IGA in the Central Wheatbelt. A modern store with a full service Deli, Bakery, Fruit & Veg section, and full range Meat and Grocery department.
IRAM took over the management of Merredin IGA in May 2015 after IBA purchased the store. The business is a cornerstone investment of IBA’s grocery retail investment strategy.

We offer a delivery service to the Merredin township for a flat $2.50 fee
Can I do an order online?
Unfortunately, we don’t have an online portal for orders.
But you can still do your shopping at Merredin IGA from the comfort of your own home! Simply call us on (08) 9041 4700 or email us on orders-merredin@iram.com.au to place an order.
For each item, be sure to include quantity, size, and brand to ensure you get exactly the product you would like.
Payment can be made on pickup, when we deliver or with your credit card details over the phone. If paying on pickup be sure to include exact amount of cash so we can give you the exact change.
Customer orders are limited to the weekdays and include a $2.50 fee (free for seniors on Tuesday and Thursday).

Chloe Roissetter
Administration Manager
Chloe started her retail journey in 2012 as a packer at Merredin IGA. Throughout the years whilst completing her schooling she learnt numerous roles including pricing and worked as a supervisor overseeing the checkout operations. Once she completed year 12 Chloe began her career working in the accounts department. This role she maintained for three years. In 2022 she was appointed the role of Duty Manager and assisted in managing numerous departments throughout the store as both relief and temporary management.
Chloe has since been appointed the Administration Manager.

Leandri van Heerden
Trainee Grocery Manager
Leandri joined Merredin IGA in 2023 and quickly became an invaluable member of the team. Her versatility has seen her contribute across multiple departments, including stepping in as office administrator to cover maternity leave.
Now, as Grocery Manager in training, Leandri is rising to the challenge of overseeing the store's largest and one of the most demanding departments, demonstrating her growing expertise and leadership skills.

Elisha Bennett
Store Manager
Elisha started work in retail as a casual with Best & Less in 1999. After progressing to full-time work, she worked with ASM in stores across Central Coast NSW and as a trainee-store manager with Aldi. She was appointed Store Manager in 2006 in Armidale NSW and then worked at several stores in country NSW over three years.
She has worked in several top ranking country stores in New South Wales and Western Australia, coached and mentored ASMs and country store managers, been involved in several store openings over the past 15 years and worked in various roles, from team trainer to opening store manager to visual merchandising rep.
Elisha was promoted to Merredin IGA store manager in January 2023
